Terry Lillie
President and CTO, Omix Inc.

Omix Inc. is a professional services firm specializing in Web site back-end development. In business since 1994, Omix also specializes in Java programming, particularly with databases, application servers, and J2EE. The company is also a longtime BEA WebLogic integrator.

Omix also has built e-commerce and auction components that it resells, often packaged with services. Its clients have included Cisco, MTV, Sony, Hewlett-Packard, and "a lot of startups during the boom." Lately, Omix has done more work with traditional organizations such as Stanford University and KTSF-TV.

We recently caught up with Terry Lillie, Omix' President and CTO, to check up on various aspects of independent Java development, Web services, and WebLogic.
