The methodology that Intel's information technology group used to develop its enterprise security architecture is significant in terms of the roles that policy, risk, emerging business drivers, and threats played as key inputs to the strategy. Alan D. Ross' presentation focuses on the methodology and its inputs, and then demonstrates the methods for articulating strategy as well as correlating architecture work products.

Ross also addresses the need to work with appropriate stakeholders to be successful. Plus, he discusses the artifacts used in creating the architecture work products and the governance process used to approve the new security architecture.

About the Speaker
Alan D. Ross is lead enterprise security architect at Intel Corp. He has 11 years of IT security experience in various arenas, from data security to engineering and architecture. He is experienced with the entire information security lifecycle, and is currently leading security architecture activities for Intel's IT division.
