Building an Extensible SOA Infrastructure
Approach SOA management from a project-based level while allowing room for future expansion.

Enterprise Architect Summit, May 23, 2005

Watch the video of the session! (Running time: 1 hour, 16 minutes)

Frank Martinez
CTO, Blue Titan
Dan Foody
CTO, Actional

How do chief architects balance near-term project success with long-term infrastructure reliability and performance as they build service-oriented architectures (SOAs) that leverage their initial Web services efforts? Striking this balance is central to the success of every modern enterprise SOA initiative. This session addresses how to approach SOA management from a project-based level while allowing room for future expansion to an enterprise-wide SOA. Find out how SOA management can help ease the complexity of moving toward a loosely coupled environment. In addition, learn how to move from project-based Web services to an enterprise-wide SOA, why SOA management is required for effective Web service deployments, and what's in store for the future of Web services.
