Oracle Clears Path for Mobile Enterprise
Business applications will drive the next wave of wireless development.

The promise of wireless access to enterprise applications might be compelling, but the path to that future is littered with failed attempts. Oracle's mobile development chief, Jacob Christfort, thinks he knows why. Companies have sought to extend their existing applications to wireless devices instead of building new applications that are designed for mobility from the ground up.
