Exploring the Latest J2EE Technologies with Oracle JDeveloper 10.1.3

Expand your programming skills to learn how to use the latest industry standards with Oracle's JDeveloper 10.1.3 to develop and deploy portable J2EE applications that make your enterprise fly. This workshop entails morning presentations on EJB 3.0, Web Services and JavaServer Faces. The afternoon will then be devoted to doing hands on lab exercises using the three technologies together. Attendees wishing to do the lab exercises should bring a laptop. Oracle software will be provided including a 10g database, JDeveloper 10.1.3 as well as the hands on lab exercises.

Laptop Hardware Requirements:

  • Minimum 512MB RAM running Windows 2000/XP or Mac OS X is required, but 1Gb RAM is recommended
  • 1GHz Processor
  • 1Gb of diskspace required (3Gb if installing database onsite)
  • Preinstallation of Oracle database (versions 8i, 9i, or 10g) is recommend. Download Oracle 10g DB at OTN. Database will also be provided at workshop.
  • DVD-ROM (Software will be distributed via DVD)
