Wayne Ariola is the Parasoft Vice President of Corporate Development and Product Management. He has 15 years of strategic consulting experience in the high tech and software development industries. Prior to joining Parasoft in 2003, he was Sr. Director of Business Development for Fasturn and a Principle Consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers where he was recognized as leader in the Strategic Change practice. Kulvir Singh Bhogal, WebSphere Unit, IBM Software Services
Kulvir devises and implements WebSphere-centric solutions at customer sites across the nation. He has more than 70 patents pending in a myriad of technology areas. Toufic Boubez, Chief Technology Officer, Layer 7 Technologies
Toufic is a well-respected and renowned Web services visionary. Prior to co-founding Layer 7 Technologies, he was the Chief Web Services Architect for IBM's Software Group and drove their early XML and Web services strategies. He worked as IBM's technical representative to the UDDI Web services consortium and participated on several standards bodies including the UN/CEFACT/OASIS ebXML initiative. During this time, Toufic co-authored the original UDDI API specification. Toufic also managed some of IBM Global Services' largest e-business engagements. He is a sought-after presenter and has chaired many XML and Web services conferences. In 2002, InfoWorld named Toufic to its "Ones to Watch" list. An author of many publications, his most recent book is the top-selling Building Web Services with Java: Making Sense of XML, SOAP, WSDL and UDDI. Toufic holds a Master of Electrical Engineering degree from McGill University and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Rutgers University.

Ben Bratt, Architect, gedas USA (Volkswagen Group)
Ben is responsible for the gedas USA ' s HCM support of client's technology implementations and global practice development. Ben holds a BA degree in political science from Calvin College, an MA in  p olitical  s cience from Tulane University, and an MA in  c ounseling from Michigan State University. Ben has 11 years experience in helping organizations realize and integrate systems and process changes in technical and manufacturing environments.
Brent Carlson, VP of technology and co-founder, LogicLibrary, Inc. Recently named to InfoWorld's list of "CTOs to Watch in 2004," Carlson drives the development and delivery of LogicLibrary's products. He is a 17-year veteran of IBM, where he served as lead architect for the WebSphere Business Components project and held numerous leadership roles on the "IBM SanFrancisco Project." Carlson recently led LogicLibrary's product development team in porting the Logidex solution to the .NET platform. He is the co-author of two books: San Francisco Design Patterns: Blueprints for Business Software (with James Carey and Tim Graser) and Framework Process Patterns: Lessons Learned Developing Application Frameworks (with James Carey). Carlson is also a frequent presenter at industry conferences, including Microsoft PDC 2003, and regional user groups. Glen Daniels, Manager of Standards and Consortia, Sonic Software
In this position, he coordinates Sonic¹s standards consortia involvement. Daniels co-authored "Building Web Services with Java." He has over 15 years of experience in the software industry, during which distributed computing has been a constant theme. He has been working with ³Web services² technologies since their inception in the late 90¹s, and in addition to developing products and helping to found Apache¹s Axis project, he has been an active participant in standards bodies such as the W3C, and a member of the "SOAP Builders" interoperability group.
Steven P. Davis, Vice President of IT, Walt Disney Studios
As well as being VP of IT, Steven also serves as co-chair of Disney's Architecture Council. Mr. Davis is a systems architect and technology strategist with more than 25 years of experience in both commercial software and in house application development. He is a frequent speaker and thought leader in Enterprise Architecture. In addition to architectural and development responsibilities, Mr. Davis also oversees Disney's domestic film distribution, music, and entertainment business services groups within the Studio's IT organization.

Ted Farrell is Architect and Director of Strategy for Application Development Tools at Oracle Corporation. Mr. Farrell is responsible for the technical and strategic direction of Oracle's development tools products, including Oracle9i JDeveloper, Oracle's Jave and XML Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for J2EE application and Web services development. Prior to Joining Oracle, Mr. Farrell was Chief Technology Officer at WebGain, an application development tools solutions provider. Dan Foody, CTO, Actional
As Chief Technology Officer at Actional, Dan leverages his extensive experience in enterprise systems software toward designing manageable service-oriented architectures. He is an active participant in the Web services standards community, including OASIS, WS-I and OMG, where he contributed significantly to the OMG standard for COM/CORBA interworking. Dan also heads Actional's contributions on the OASIS Web Services Distributed Management Committee (WSDM).

Chris Haddad, Practice Manager, Burton Group Application
Chris has over 14 years of experience architecting and managing development initiatives, and advising on product strategy for Web service companies such as Grand Central, Flamenco Networks (Digital Evolution), Computer Associates (formerly Adjoin), Securant, Employease, Jamcracker, and TRX. An expert in the design of service oriented architecture and business class Web service infrastructure, he chaired the IBSi Technology Committee and the Web Services Special Interest Group. Tom Hite, co-founder, Metallect
Tom is responsible for Metallect's technology strategy. He brings 17 years of executive experience in both early-stage and publicly traded companies. Prior to co-founding Metallect, Tom was CTO of AMX Corporation (NASDAQ: AMXC), where he led the development of a sophisticated software platform for home and business automation. Previously, Tom was VP of Software Development at AnswerSoft, Inc. prior to its acquisition by Concerto Software (NASDAQ: CRTO). Ralph Hodgson, CEO and Co-Founder, TopQuadrant, Inc.
TopQuadrant is a consulting company specializing in knowledge-based solutions, the semantic WEB, semantic technologies ontology engineering. Ralph is the leader for the Semantic Technologies Pilots in the Emerging Technology sub-committee of the Government's CIO Council's XML Web Services Working Group. Ralph has over 25 years experience, in the United States and internationally in enterprise systems design, consulting, software development and methodology development and deployment. Prior to launching TopQuadrant he was an Executive Consultant at IBM Global Services from 1994 to 2001 where he was a founding member of the Portal and Java and Emerging Technology practices. Kwang Sik Kang, IT architect, WebSphere Unit, IBM Software Services Kwang Kang consults IBM clientele on the architecture and development of critical systems. Gurpreet S. Pall, Senior Director, Architecture Strategy, Microsoft
Gurpreet S. Pall is a Senior Director of Architectural Strategy in Microsoft Developer and Partner Evangelism division. Roger Sippl
Roger Sippl has more than 25 years of senior operations and chief executive experience with technology companies. He was founder of Informix Software, Inc. in 1980. Under his direction, Informix pioneered SQL relational databases, 4GL application development tools, and OLTP database technology and is now a part of IBM. Sippl was co-founder and chairman of The Vantive Corporation, now part of PeopleSoft. In 1993, he founded and was chairman of Visigenic Software, helping pioneer distributed computing and application servers in enterprises. Visigenic was acquired by Borland.
