Visual Basic .NET's Split and Join functions give you a lot of options for parsing code. Together, you can use these to break up, or concatenate strings. You had similar functionality in VB5 and VB6, but it's good to learn the native .NET versions of both because they can give you better performance and more object-like syntax.
